I will take part to the Salon Nouveau Genre on May 12 and 13 in Quebec city. This event gather artists, fashion and graphic designers, craftsmen and writers. I will present a collection of objects I have created in the past 3 years. Welcome to everyone!

On February 8th at 18 o’clock is the opening for the exhibit Picking Souvenirs, at the O. Jauhiaisen museo (Kiiminki, Finland)!
With this exhibit, I am presenting the work I have done in the 3 past weeks, since I got to the Kulttuurikauppila art centre (Ii, Finland) for my 2 months residency.

My residency at Kulttuurikkauppila started already 16 days ago. Time is flying. In a week, on February 8, I will present the work I have been doing in the 3 last weeks (more informations about the exhibit in a couple of days). Because I have not so much time to prepare an entire exhibit, I feel that, these days, all days are the same. Working / Eating / Working / Walking a bit / Working / Eating again / Working / Sleeping. But I love this challenge. It is the first time I am preparing an exhibit in a so short time, and it is very exciting. However, it is a bit hard to stay focuse on ONE thing : I need to force myself to keep some ideas for later, once the exhibit will be started. I can’t wait for that.
Can’t wait either for other projects I have for my stay here. Taking long walks in the village, doing short escapes to Oulu and longer one to Rovaniemi or other places, spending more time with people, learning (or trying to learn) some finnish, doing more jogging, preparing lectures and maybe workshops, etc.
Can’t wait 8 more days.
